We drive to Smithers and originally planned to go on a beautiful hike. However, the hike led deep into the mountains, and when we arrived at the parking lot, we didn't see any other cars. Moreover, the surroundings of the parking lot didn't seem safe, and we decided not to leave our RV there. We also felt uncomfortable about taking the hike as the only visitors, especially considering the cloudy weather. Additionally, the hike was mainly praised for its scenic views. So, we continue driving to the campground. We have a view of a glacier, which is beautiful. However, due to the clouds, the glacier is not very visible. We eagerly search the evening sky for the Northern Lights since there is a high chance of witnessing this natural phenomenon tonight. Unfortunately, we only see a green glow on the camera and not with the naked eye.
